Outside Field Sales Representative (FSR)
E.H. Wachs is looking for a field sales representative to sell our industry leading portable pipe cutting and beveling machines tools used in the power generation, oil & gas and pipeline distribution industries.

The successful candidate will be expected to identify and interact with all levels of a customer’s organization, and be tasked with establishing and developing relationships to maximize sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have an immediate positive impact through already developed relationships and the knowledge and drive to develop new ones within a defined geographic region.
Position Overview:
Includes but is not limited to selling company products and services by interaction with established customers. Position is also responsible for development of new prospects within a geographically limited territory.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to work remotely with limited supervision
- Accomplish sales goals within a defined territory
- Demonstrate products with application knowledge
- Interface with customers, inside sales staff, engineering, purchasing, production and quality control to ensure customer requirements are understood and problems resolved
- Perform contract review operations
- Represent E.H. Wachs at designated trade shows
- Manage complex or long sales cycles
- Ability to manage multiple sales/projects simultaneously
- Territory Management
Position Requirements:
- Be willing and able to travel 2 to 3 weeks per month
- Possess minimum 3 years sales experience
- Complete training provided by EH Wachs of the company’s products and services
- Good speaking, writing, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook). Utilize company CRM database
- Pass fitness for duty requirements – nuclear/non-nuclear
- Must be able to acquire unescorted access in a nuclear power plant, not limited to:
1. Personal history disclosure
2. Background investigation
3. General performance objective
4. Psychological assessment
Other/Skills Abilities:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to adjust to a changing work environment, competing demands, frequent changes, delays and unexpected events
Physical Demand Category:
- Ability to lift and demonstrate equipment safely
